The Bay Tree Council for the Performing Arts is governed by a dedicated Board of Directors comprised of arts advocates who share a
common passion for theater and a commitment to the community. The board also serves as a champion of the theater arts in the Red Bay
area. It is dedicated to raising the profile of theater and igniting interest in the theater among the community’s youth. |

SCOTTY KENNEDY, CHAIRMAN, is from Red Bay, Alabama where he has a photography studio and does custom framing. Scotty has appeared in over 20 productions with the BTCPA and directed his first production, Everybody's Girl, last spring. In addition to serving as chairman of the board, he is also involved with the Red Bay museum. Scotty also served as chairman of the board during the 2005-2006 season as well as 2001-2002 season.
MARK NICHOLS, VICE CHAIRMAN, is from Belmont, Mississippi and employed as an instructor at Northeast Mississippi Community College. As well as serving on the board, Mark has appeared in numerous productions for the BTCPA. Mark is also responsible for the BTCPA's website, www.baytreecouncil.org. He is also serves as a deputy sheriff for Tishomingo County Mississippi.
TINA SMITH, TREASURER, is from Belmont, Mississipi where she lives with her husband, Tim "Boker" Smth. Tina is a veteran performer with the BTCPA. In addition to serving as treasurer for the BTCPA, Tina is the office manager for Bay Tree Family Care in Red Bay and is active in her work for breast cancer awareness.
LYNDA BOSTICK, SECRETARY, is from Belmont, Mississippi and an active memeber of the Bay Tree Council for the Performing Arts. She has been in numerous productions and working dilegently behind the scenes.
MARY DYER, HISTORIAN, is from Red Bay, Alabama and has appreared in and has worked as stage manager for numerous BTCPA productions.

Mark Richardson
Mark Richardson has a dedicated past with the BTCPA. He has served as chairman of the board throught his affiliation with the BTCPA. Mark provided leadership for the board during the 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2008-2009 sesaons. |
